The law of big data

The world we inhabit is filled up both with data and law. Governing the society and processing data have become two sides of the same coin. Democratic institutions, economic activities, judicial proceedings, surveillance, and education are but a few of the fields in which Big Data play a key role.

The Departments of Public, International, and Community Law, and of Physics and Astronomy of Padua University have launched a pioneering project at the intersection of AI, Big Data, and Public. The projects includes a series of interdisciplinary seminars for students in Law as well as in Physics of Data and other relevant disciplines on the cutting-edge topic of Law & Big Data.
