Educating the next generation of students, scholars, and professionals to deal with real world issues. A series of interdisciplinary seminars, crash courses, and a hackathon on AI’s societal impact.

The project

This project explores the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in physics teaching to enhance the educational quality of the Degree Programs at the Department of Physics and Astronomy (DFA). Through a Faculty Learning Community (FLC), the project aims to foster an informed and critical use of AI, develop innovative teaching materials, and establish a shared platform for disseminating best practices and advanced educational tools.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the educational landscape, presenting new opportunities and posing methodological and critical challenges. The “Going Beyond” project aims to guide DFA towards a conscious, effective, and critical implementation of AI in physics teaching, with a particular focus on student-centered and inclusive learning.
