Teaching Physics and AI 25/26
AI-based Technologies: HowTo-4-Teaching
The use of AI offers great potential but also limitations in applicability and the risk of generating false knowledge if used superficially and uncritically.
To promote informed use of AI, the project includes:
- Training Workshops and Informative Seminar Cycle for faculty and students of CdSs pertaining to the Department of Physics and Astronomy on the use of commercial and open source AI tools, their limitations, potential, and use to create effective teaching materials;
- Realization of guidelines, support materials, and a shared library of information on “how” to use AI.
The goal is to provide practical skills on AI, highlighting its merits and shortcomings, to encourage its critical and informed use in physics education, overcoming the current limited knowledge of these innovative tools.
